<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />DATE: Monday, January 24, 2000 <br />MEMBERS <br />PRESENT: J. Bergeson, C. Dahl, D. Carlson, J. O’Donnell <br />MEMBERS <br />ABSENT: None <br />OTHERS <br />PRESENT: Brian Wessel, Mary Divine, Ron Batty <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Only two current members of the EDA were present at the November 8, 1999 meeting. <br />EDA Member Dahl moved to approve the minutes from the meeting. EDA Member <br />Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />EDA member Dahl moved to appoint Donna Carlson as treasurer of the EDA. EDA <br />Member O’Donnell seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />EDA Member Carlson moved to appoint the following: <br />EDA President: John Bergeson <br />EDA Vice President: Caroline Dahl <br />EDA Secretary: Mary Divine <br />EDA Assistant Treasurer: Ry-Chel Gaustad <br />EDA Executive Director: Linda Waite Smith <br /> <br />EDA Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />EDA member O’Donnell moved to appoint the Quad Community Press as the EDA <br />official newspaper. EDA Member Dahl seconded the motion. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />EDA Member Carlson moved to appoint the following as EDA legal depositories: <br />Norwest Bank, First Bank NA, Firstar Bank, Merrill Lynch, Dain Bosworth, Juran & <br />Moody, Prudential Bache, Lino Lakes State Bank, Lakeland National Bank, and League <br />of Minnesota Cities 4M Fund. EDA Member O’Donnell seconded the motion. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />
