CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-42 <br />APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR THE LINO LAKES YMCA <br />FARMERS MARKET <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Healthy Living at the Lino Lakes YMCA has submitted an <br />application for a special event permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA wishes to establish a farmers market to be located at the City's <br />Village Green Park, near the YMCA facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the farmers market would be held every Thursday from June 19 to October <br />9, 2014 except for July 3, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA has submitted detailed plans to set up and operate a farmers <br />market, including adequate parking plans; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the special event plans and have determined that <br />they meet the requirements of the City's ordinances; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the issuance of a Special Event Permit to the Lino Lakes <br />YMCA for Farmers Market to be held Thursdays, from June 19 through October 9, 2014 except <br />for July 3rd. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of May, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, Kusterma <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />`7u 1. e Bartell, City Clerk <br />Reinert <br />q <br />_, <br />Jeff Rein rt, ayor <br />
