CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-75 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR AUGUST 12, 2014 PRIMARY & <br />NOVEMBER 4, 2014 GENERAL ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, a State Primary Election will be held on August 12, 2014 and a General Election <br />will be held on November 4, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 2, election judges and a head <br />election judge for each precinct in a municipality shall be appointed by the governing body of <br />that municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.21, Subd. 1, a list of eligible voters was <br />prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the attached list of qualified individuals, if appointed, have agreed to serve as <br />election judges; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 204B.25, election judges will receive training from <br />the Anoka County Elections and Voter Registration division; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes that <br />the named persons on the attached list of qualified individuals are hereby appointed to serve as <br />election judges and head election judges for the 2014 Primary Election and the 2012 General <br />Election if called upon to do so. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of July, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Roeser and was duly seconded by Council Member Kusterman and upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Roeser, Kusterman, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayo <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, City ler <br />
