CITY COUNCIL <br />�..� AGENDA ITEM 1F <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Julie Bartell, City Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: July 14, 2014 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No.14-75, Election Judge Approval <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />In 2014 two elections will be conducted in the City of Lino Lakes — the August 14 Primary and <br />November 4 General elections. Election judges are required in order to staff the city's seven <br />voting precincts. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The governing body of a municipality has the authority to appoint qualified applicants to serve <br />as election judges. Attached is a list of qualified individuals who, if appointed, will be trained <br />to serve as Lino Lakes' Election Judges for the 2014 Primary and/or General Election. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 14-75, Appointing Election Judges for the 2014 <br />Primary and/or General Election. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Election Judge Roster <br />
