CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14-80 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR <br />BLUE HERON DAYS FESTIVAL <br />WHEREAS, The 11th Annual Lino Lakes Blue Heron Days Festival will be held <br />August 15-17, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, There are many popular events including the parade, Movie in the Park at <br />Lino Park, Quad Chamber Business Expo, American Legion Family Picnic, YMCA <br />Splash and Dash, Kiddie Carnival, Lions Petting Zoo, Centennial Fire Open House, <br />CERT Team Blood Drive, Blue Out 5K Fun Run, and the Lino Lakes Ambassador <br />Coronation; and <br />WHEREAS, The following organizations have graciously donated funds to help make <br />Blue Heron Days a success: <br />Twin Cities Gateway $6,552 <br />Blaine Festival $5,000 <br />EJM Pipe Services, Inc. $1,000 <br />Teknapack, Inc. $ 500 <br />Creative Kids Academy $ 200 <br />E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc. $ 200 <br />F&MBank $ 200 <br />HealthPartners-Lino Lakes Clinic $ 200 <br />Metro Dentalcare $ 200 <br />Pat -A -Cake Child Care, Inc. $ 200 <br />AFSCME Local #2454 $ 200 <br />American Legion Post 566 $ 100 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes hereby accepts the donations to help fund the Blue Heron Days Festival and wishes <br />to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to these organizations for their donations. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of July, 2014. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council <br />Member Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Stoesz, Rafferty, Kusterman, Roeser <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Jtiii nne Bartell, Ci , Clerk <br />Jeff Rein rt, Mayor <br />
