CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM lE <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br />MEETING DATE: September 8, 2014 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 14-103, Approving a Peddler License for <br />Custom Remodelers Inc. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Custom Remodelers Inc., 474 Apollo Drive, Lino Lakes has submitted a peddler's license <br />application to the city clerk's office. The company representatives who will be working <br />in Lino Lakes are Tara Anderson, Hannah Gerdesmeier, Benjamin Smothers, Brandon <br />Meyer, Thomas Bannochie, Martin Bergner and Devin Sellin. The group plans to travel <br />through the Lino Lakes' neighborhoods setting up appointments for free estimates for <br />window, siding, roofing and door installation. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Police Department has performed a background checks and indicated no <br />reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 14-103, Approving the issuance of a peddler license for Custom <br />Remodelers Inc. for a six month period commencing September 9, 2014. <br />
