As you know, <br />to remain valid as the environmental review for the area, the AUAR needs to be updated every five years. <br />The City's last update to the AUAR for the area will expire in October 2015. <br />Task 1- Collect and Analyze Background Information <br />Background information, including the original AUAR, 2010 AUAR Update, and any relevant studies that <br />have been completed in the area since the last update will be collected and analyzed. This will include <br />reviewing City documents as well as Watershed District rules. This will assist in developing the <br />framework for the needed updates to the study. Additionally, updated data from the various agencies <br />such as the DNR Natural Heritage Database, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, and Minnesota <br />Historical Society will be obtained. <br />Task 2 - Review Development Scenarios <br />The AUAR evaluated three development scenarios. These scenarios will be reviewed with the <br />Comprehensive Plan and any changes or updates summarized in the document. <br />Task 3 - Update AUAR <br />The original AUAR and AUAR Update are very complete and many portions of these documents are still <br />valid. Overall, the AUAR will be updated to reflect new rules or regulations. Mitigation measures will also <br />be updated to reflect any new rules or regulations where applicable, or identify if any of the measures <br />have been implemented. The AUAR Update will be a separate document that references the original <br />AUAR and 2010 Update, analyzes was has changed since the AUAR, and updates the mitigation measures <br />as necessary.
