COUNCIL MINUTES June 8, 2015 <br />DRAFT <br />1 CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />2 MINUTES <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 DATE : June 8, 2015 <br />6 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. <br />7 TIME ENDED : 8:00 p.m. <br />8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Council Member Stoesz, Kusterman, Rafferty, <br />9 Roeser, and Mayor Reinert <br />10 MEMBERS ABSENT <br />11 <br />12 Staff members present: City Administrator Jeff Karlson; Community Development Director Michael <br />13 Grochala; City Engineer Diane Hankee; Public Safety Director John Swenson; and City Clerk Julie <br />14 Bartell <br />15 <br />16 PUBLIC COMMENT <br />17 <br />18 There were no public comments. <br />19 <br />20 Mayor Reinert noted that just previous to tonight's meeting, the council reviewed the updated Lino <br />21 Lakes Ambassadors float. The volunteers with the Ambassadors program did a wonderful job and <br />22 float will represent the city well. <br />23 <br />24 SETTING THE AGENDA <br />25 <br />26 The agenda was approved as presented. <br />27 <br />28 SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />29 <br />30 Cliff Vick of CenterPoint Energy presented the city with a check for $2,500 as a grant through their <br />31 Community Partnership Grant Program. The funds will be used by the Public Safety Department to <br />32 purchase a thermal imaging unit for use by the Fire Department. Mayor Reinert officially accepted <br />33 the funds and thanked Mr. Vick on behalf of the city and its residents. <br />34 <br />35 CONSENT AGENDA <br />36 <br />37 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1G as presented. <br />38 Council Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />39 <br />40 ITEM ACTION <br />41 <br />42 Consideration of Expenditures: <br />43 <br />44 June 8, 2015, Check No. 101500-101561, in the amount <br />45 Of $281,457.54 Approved <br />1 <br />
