See "exterior storage." <br />PARCEL. A contiguous tract or area of land established by plat, subdivision, or as <br />otherwise permitted by law, that has one legal description and parcel identification number <br />recorded with the Anoka County Property Records Department. Also referred to as a "lot" or <br />"lot of record." <br />PARK, PRIVATE. A tract of land presently owned or controlled and used by private or <br />semi-public persons, entities, groups, etc. for active and/or passive recreational purposes. <br />PARK, PUBLIC. A tract of land publicly owned and used by the public for active and/or <br />passive recreational purposes. <br />PARKING LOT. An off-street, ground level area. usually surfaced and improved. for the <br />temporary storage of motor vehicles. <br />PARKING SPACE. A space for the parking of a motor vehicle within a public or private <br />parking area. <br />PARTY WALL. A common shared wall between two (2) separate structures. buildings, or <br />dwelling units. <br />PERMITTED USE. Any use allowed in a zoning district and subject to the restrictions <br />applicable to that zoning district. <br />PERSONAL SERVICE. Personal services shall include the following: barber shops, <br />beauty salon, electrolysis, manicurist, tanning parlor, physical therapy, therapeutic massage, <br />tattooing, and body piercing. (added per Ord. 21-03) <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT. An area of a minimum contiguous size, as specified <br />by ordinance, to be planned and developed as a single entity containing one or more residential <br />clusters or planned residential developments and/or one or more public, quasi -public, <br />commercial or industrial areas in such ranges of ratios of non-residential uses to residential uses <br />as shall be specified. <br />PLAY AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. Equipment customary and incidental to the <br />principal use of the site intended for the enjoyment and convenience of the residents of the <br />principal use and their occasional guests. Such facilities include swing sets, play sculptures, <br />sand boxes, picnic tables, basketball standards, barbeque grills and the like. <br />PRINCIPAL USE.
