(k) Protection shall be provided to minimize disturbance to surrounding soils, <br />root systems and trunks of trees adjacent to site activity that are intended to be left <br />standing. <br />(1) Compaction of site soils shall be minimized. <br />(m) <br />Using and maintaining temporary and permanent soil stabilization. <br />(n) All imported materials shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to <br />placement on the site. <br />(o) Appropriate on-site containment must be provided for all trash, solid <br />waste, construction debris, floating debris, and hazardous materials. Disposal of <br />collected sediment shall be deposited only in approved locations. <br />(4) Construction Activity Requirements. Any activity subject to a permit under this <br />ordinance must conform to the standards of the NPDES general permit regarding <br />construction -site erosion and sediment control. <br />(5) Final Stabilization. <br />(a) Erosion and sediment control measures must be maintained until final <br />vegetation and ground cover is established to a density of 70%. <br />(b) All temporary erosion and sediment control BMPs will be removed after <br />all disturbed areas have been permanently stabilized. <br />1011.09 STORMWATER MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />(1) Stormwater Management - A Stormwater Management Permit shall be required <br />for all proposed land development activity including public linear projects except for mill <br />and overlay of public roadway, sidewalk, or trail that does not create additional <br />impervious surface, or unless otherwise exempted in this ordinance, which meets any or <br />all of the following: <br />(a) Creation of more than 10,000 sq. ft. (0.23 acre) of impervious surface, <br />including smaller individual sites that are part of a common plan of development that <br />may be constructed at different times. <br />(b) The site is within the 100 -year floodplain; within 1,000 feet of a public <br />water or protected wetland; impacts a wetland; and/or within 300 feet of Rice Creek, <br />Clearwater Creek, Hardwood Creek, or a public ditch. <br />
