02-01 Council Member O'Donnell introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption. CITY OF LINO LAKES ORDINANCE NO. 02-01 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY ALLOCATING 2.55 ACRES OF MUSA RESERVE TO NINE LOTS IN THE BEHM'S FARM PARK ADDITION The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota does hereby ordain: Section 1. The City Council finds that the proposed project meets the City's Interim MUSA Reserve Criteria as follows: 1. The request for MUSA is occurring concurrently with preliminary plat application. 2. The rezoning request is occurring concurrently with the MUSA request. 3. MUSA is adjacent to the site, across both Mustang and Palomino Lanes. 4. The net acreage for the nine lots is 2.55 acres, and that is the MUSA request. 5. Utilities exist directly adjacent to the site. 6. Roadways exist directly adjacent to the site. 7. The City has reviewed the proposal and there is no evidence of negative impacts to the community health, welfare, or general safety. 8. The City has reviewed the proposal and there is no evidence of negative impacts to the environment. The wetland plan was approved by the Rice Creek Watershed District. 9. The revenue from developing the site into nine lots will provide funds to develop the park consistent with the City's Comprehensive Park Plan. 10. The site is within the intended Behm's Century Farms Development within Sewer District No.2 as reviewed by the Met Council. 11. Utilities exist directly adjacent to the site.
