(5) Curbing. All off-street parking areas designed to have <br /> head-in parking along the property line shall have a <br /> curb, wheel stop or bumper guard not less than five (5) <br /> feet from the side property line. <br /> (6) When a parking area of six (6) spaces or more is adjacent <br /> to the setback from a street, a curb or fence not over <br /> four (4) feet in height shall be erected along said <br /> setback line for the length of the parking area and grass <br /> or planting shall occupy the space between the roadway <br /> and curb or fence. (The design review board may <br /> recommend screening in lieu of fencing) <br /> (7) Parking Space for Six (6) or More Cars. When an off- <br /> street parking area for six (6) or more cars is located <br /> within thirty (30) feet of an adjoining Residential <br /> District, a screening shall be provided between the <br /> Residential District property line and the parking area. <br /> (8) Maintenance of Off-Street Parking Space. It shall be the <br /> joint responsibility of the operator and owner of the <br /> principal use, uses and/or buildings to maintain, a neat <br /> and adequate manner, the parking space, accessways, <br /> landscaping and required screening. <br /> (9) Access. All off-street parking spaces shall have access <br /> off driveways and not directly off the public street. <br /> Subd. 5. Motor Vehicle Parking in Residential Areas. <br /> (1) No motor vehicle exceeding a gross weight of 11,075 <br /> pounds shall be parked or stored in a residential <br /> district except when loading, unloading, or rendering a <br /> service unless a permit that complies with the following <br /> requirements is obtained from the building inspector. <br /> (A) The unit shall not be parked for more than 72 hours <br /> within a 7 day period excluding legal holidays. <br /> (B) The unit shall be parked behind the front of the <br /> dwelling. <br /> (C) No more than one- permit shall be granted per <br /> residence. <br /> (D) Neither the truck engine nor any other motorized <br /> component shall be left running while the vehicle <br /> is parked. <br /> (E) There shall be a minimum of 150 feet from the unit <br /> City of Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br /> ADOPTED 7/13/92 <br /> 146 <br />
