residential districts. <br /> Subd 9. Height. Also see subdivision 14 of this section. <br /> (1) The height of structures used for churches, schools, <br /> multiple family residential structures, and similar uses <br /> may extend to forty-five (45) feet in residential <br /> districts. <br /> (2) In Rural and Industrial districts the height of non- <br /> occupancy structures such as radio and television <br /> transmission towers shall not exceed two hundred (200) <br /> feet in height upon the issuance of a conditional use <br /> permit. <br /> (A) The height of utility poles, towers, and other <br /> electrical appurtenances shall not exceed 45 feet <br /> of height in any Rural or Single-Family Residential <br /> district. <br /> (B) The location, appearance, and height of utility <br /> poles, towers, and other electrical appurtenances <br /> shall be considered a conditional use within each <br /> of the city's zoning districts. <br /> (3) Exceptions to the height restrictions in the Rural and <br /> Single-Family Residential Districts shall be lighting <br /> structures for softball/baseball fields and hockey rinks. <br /> The maximum height for softball/baseball lighting <br /> structures shall be eighty (80) feet and for hockey rinks <br /> sixty (60) feet. <br /> Subd. 10. Front Setbacks. In and R=1, R-2, R-3 or greater <br /> district where principal buildings or adjoining lots existed at the <br /> time of adoption of this ordinance have a lesser setback from that <br /> required, the required front yard of a new structure shall not be <br /> less than the average front yard of the buildings on each side lot <br /> for four hundred (400) feet and in no case shall be less than <br /> twenty (20) feet. <br /> Subd. 11. Zero Lot Line - Side and Rear Setbacks. In the R-2, <br /> R-3 or greater districts, all "B" districts and all "I" districts, <br /> the side and rear setback requirements may be excluded provided: <br /> (1) Party walls are used; party wall being defined as a wall <br /> which divides two adjoining properties and in which each <br /> of the owners of the adjoining properties has rights of <br /> enjoyment. <br /> (2) Setback requirements to adjacent lots are increased to be <br /> City of Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br /> ADOPTED 7/13/92 <br /> 31 <br />
