Dra inacte. <br /> (1) No land shall be developed or altered and no use shall be <br /> permitted that results in surface water runoff causing <br /> unreasonable flooding, erosion or deposit of minerals on <br /> said land, adjacent properties or waterbodies. Such <br /> runoff shall be properly channeled into a storm drain, a <br /> natural water course or drainageway, a ponding area or <br /> other public facility. <br /> (2) The zoning official, upon inspection of any site which <br /> has created drainage problems or could create drainage <br /> problems with proposed new development, may require the <br /> owner of said site or contractor to complete a grading <br /> plan. <br /> (3) The owner or contractor of any natural drainage <br /> improvement or alteration may be required by the zoning <br /> official to obtain recommendations from the Minnesota <br /> Department of Natural Resources, the Soil Conservation <br /> District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, affected <br /> Watershed District(s) and/or city engineer. <br /> (4) On any slope in excess of eight percent (8%) where, in <br /> the opinion of the zoning official, the natural drainage <br /> pattern may be disturbed or altered, the zoning official <br /> may require the applicant to submit both a grading plan <br /> and a soil conservation plan prior to applying for a <br /> building permit. <br /> Subd. 33. Land Reclamation and Land Grading. <br /> (1) Within this ordinance, land reclamation is the reclaiming <br /> of land by depositing or moving material so as to alter <br /> the grade. Land reclamation shall be permitted by <br /> conditional use permit in all districts. Depositing a <br /> total of more than fifty (50) cubic yards of material per <br /> acre, either by hauling in or regrading the area, shall <br /> constitute land reclamation. Land reclamation in <br /> floodplains shall be in accordance with the floodplain <br /> ordinance. The permit shall include as a condition <br /> thereof a finished grading plan which will not adversely <br /> affect the adjacent land and as conditions thereof shall <br /> regulate the type of material permitted, program for <br /> rodent control, plan for fire control, and general <br /> maintenance of the site, controls of vehicular ingress <br /> and egress, drainage and control of material disbursed <br /> from wind or hauling of material to or from the site. <br /> Ciry of Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br /> ADOPTED 7/13/92 <br /> 44 �,. <br />
