001-, <br /> Appendix B1 - Zoning <br /> The Zoning Ordinance of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, relating <br /> to and regulating the location, size, use and heights of <br /> buildings, the arrangement of buildings on lots, and the <br /> density of population in the City of Lino Lakes and for the <br /> purpose of promoting the public health, safety, order, <br /> convenience, prosperity and general welfare in said city, and <br /> for said purpose, to divide the city into districts, and make <br /> different regulations for different districts, and amending or <br /> repealing all or parts of certain city ordinances. <br /> The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes does ordain as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. Title. This Ordinance shall be known, cited <br /> and referred to as the <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> except as referred to herein, where it shall be known as "this <br /> Ordinance. " <br /> Section 2 . Intent and Purpose. This Ordinance is adopted <br /> for the purpose of: <br /> (1) Protecting the public health, safety, comfort, <br /> convenience and general welfare. <br /> (2) Dividing the City of Lino Lakes into zones and <br /> districts restricting and regulating therein <br /> the location and use of structures and land <br /> and lot size. <br /> (3) Promoting orderly development of the <br /> residential , business , industrial , <br /> recreational and public areas. <br /> (4) Providing adequate light, air, and convenience <br /> of access to property. <br /> (5) Limiting congestion in the public right-of- <br /> way. <br /> (6) Preventing overcrowding of land and undue <br /> concentration of structures by regulating the <br /> use of land and buildings in relation to the <br /> City of Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br /> ADOPTED 7/13/92 <br /> 1 <br />
