• <br />Y. The permit owner shall be responsible for all of the requirements <br />of this Ordinance, including the liability for expense of removal <br />and maintenance incurred by the City. <br />Z. GRANDFATHER CLAUSE: All signs located within the City of Lino <br />Lakes prior to the adoption of this Ordinance, may continue to <br />exist as to size, illumination and present location, provided <br />the sign does not violate any provisions of the Lino Lakes City <br />Code up to the date this Ordinance is passed and adopted. A <br />permit is required for each existing sign, as applicable under <br />this Ordinance. <br />AA. Any violation of this Ordinance shall constitute a misdemeanor. <br />Each day of such violation shall constitute a separate offense. <br />Punishment therefore may involve a fine of up to Seven Hundred <br />($700) dollars or a jail sentence of ninety (90) days, or both; <br />this shall not, however, allow the continued existence of a <br />violation and removal thereof may be undertaken by the City upon <br />a ten (10) day notice of such proposed removal to the violator. <br />SECTION V.
