• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Ordinance No. 14 - 84 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2 OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, BY <br />CHANGING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCESSORY BUILDINGS. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />does ordain: <br />Ordinance No. 2 of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />passed by the City Council on May 24, 1983 is hereby amended by <br />changing certain requirements for accessory buildings pursuant to <br />the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />I. <br />AMENDMENT. Section 4, Subd. 7 of the Lino Lakes Ordinance No. 2 is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Subd. 7. Accessory Buildings and Structures. <br />(1) Types of Accessory Buildings. Storage or tool sheds; detached <br />garage; detached rural storage building; detached domesticated <br />farm animal building. Said accessory buildings are defined as <br />follows: <br />(A) Storage or Tool Shed. A small one-story accessory building <br />used or intended for the storage of hobby tools and garden <br />equipment. <br />(B) Detached Garage. A one-story accessory building used or <br />intended for the storage or motor driven passenger vehicles. <br />(C) Rural Storage Building. A one-story accessory building used <br />or intended for the storage of hobby tools, garden equipment, <br />workshop equipment, boats, snowmobiles, etc. <br />(D) Detached Domesticated Farm Animal Building. A one-story <br />accessory building used or intended for the shelter of <br />domestic farm animals and/or related feed or other farm <br />animal supportive materials. Said building shall require <br />a Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Feedlot Permit. <br />(2) No accessory building or use shall be constructed or developed <br />on a lot prior to the time of construction of the principal <br />building to which it is accessory. <br />(3) Accessory building shall be considered as an integral part of <br />the principal building if it is located less than six (6) feet <br />from the principal building. <br />(4) Houseboats are to be considered accessory structures for purposes <br />of applying this Ordinance. Any object that floats which has <br />sleeping accommodations and facilities for preparing food shall <br />be defined as a houseboat. All houseboats which are to be docked <br />or moored within the City limits for a period of six (6) days or <br />more shall require an annual Conditional Use Permit. Said permit <br />
