• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-35 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, BIRCH STREET AND CENTERVILLE ROAD STREET AND TRUNK <br />UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Birch Street & <br />Centerville Road Street and Trunk Utility Improvements, bids were received, opened and <br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of bid <br />A-1 Excavating, Inc. $839,025.00 <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc. $631,759.75 <br />Engineer's Opinion of Cost $674,665.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Dresel Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dresel <br />S Contracting, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the Birch <br />Street & Centerville Road Street and Trunk Utility Improvements according to the plans <br />and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of April, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council MemberStoes z and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Roeser, Kusterman, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTES <br />u anne Bartell, Ci <br />Jeff ,Reinert, Mayor <br />
