The lowest point of elevation of the <br />finished surface of the ground, paving, or sidewalk within the area between the <br />building and property line, or when the property line is more than five (5) feet <br />from the building, between the building and a line five (5) feet from the building. <br />Grading Plan. Existing topography and proposed finished grades with a contour <br />interval of no greater than two (2) feet clearly indicating the relationship of <br />proposed changes to existing topography and remaining features. <br />Greenway. Land shown in the Comprehensive Plan that is intended to: <br />1. Preserve contiguous open space to define neighborhoods. <br />2. Provide for passive recreational trail opportunities. <br />Hardship. The same as that term is defined in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />462. <br />Hazardous Waste. Any refuse, sludge, or other waste material or combination <br />of refuse, sludge, or other waste materials in solid, semi -solid, liquid, or <br />contained gaseous form which because of its quantity, concentration, or <br />chemical, physical, or infectious characteristics may: <br />1. Cause or significantly contribute to an increase in mortality or an increase <br />in serious or irreversible, or incapacitating reversible illness, or <br />2. Pose a substantial present or potential hazard to human health or the <br />environment when improperly treated, stored, or transported, or disposed <br />of, or otherwise managed. Categories of hazardous waste materials <br />include, but are not limited to: explosives, flammable, oxidizers, poisons, <br />irritants, and corrosives. Hazardous waste does not include source, <br />special nuclear, or by-product material as defined by the Atomic Energy <br />Act of 1954, as amended. <br />Historic Site. Structure or area of land or water of historic, archaeological, <br />paleontological or architectural value which has been designated as an historic <br />site in the Federal Register of historical landmarks, the Minnesota Historical <br />Society, or by a local governmental unit. <br />Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance Title / Application / Rules <br />1-23 <br />
