This <br />70 position is needed due to increased building activity within the city. Mayor Reinert noted that the <br />71 cost of this position is included in the 2015 budget. Council Member Roeser remarked that there <br />72 have been some delays in the building process of late so this will be a good addition and help keep <br />73 that process timely. <br />74 <br />75 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve the hiring of Raymond Fuglie as recommended. <br />76 Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />77 <br />78 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />79 <br />80 4A) Hiring PT Community Service Officer- Police Chief Swenson explained that this position is <br />81 open due to a promotion. He reviewed the application process and his recommendation to hire <br />82 Andrew Hayes. <br />83 <br />84 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve the hiring of Andrew Hayes as recommended. <br />85 Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />86 <br />87 4B) Public Safety Department Update — Chief Swenson offered the following: <br />88 <br />89 - New Fire Station — the project is progressing very well. The street work is moving along also. <br />90 The construction trailer is off the site and the construction manager has moved inside; <br />2 <br />
