CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION October 26, 2015
APPROVED
45 - 6F) Variance to Allow for Garage Construction at 6602 Pheasant Run — Intern
46 Dahl explained the variance request and that staff is actually recommending a ten
47 foot variance (less than requested by the property owner). He reviewed the
48 location of the property and proposed garage on an overhead map. Mayor
49 Reinert noted that the property is off of Birch Street, an Anoka County roadway;
50 he confirmed that the county is aware and approves of the garage.
51
52 - 6G) Accept Bids and Award Contract for Well No. 6 Pumphouse — Community
53 Development Director Grochala noted that two of the bids received were
54 ultimately disqualified but they were not the low bids. There was an alternate on
55 the bid for a steel roof but staff has determined that the originally planned
56 shingled roof will be more befitting the area so that's now the recommendation.
57 The council confirmed that the proposed contractor has a history of good work.
58
59 - 6H) Final payments for 2014 Mill and Overlay Project — Engineer Hankee
60 reviewed the final numbers for the project and noted that they did remain under
61 budget. She noted that all issues have been dealt with satisfactorily.
62
63 The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
64
65 These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at the regular Council meeting held on
66 November 9, 2015.
67
68
69
71 Juli. ne Bartell, Ci Cler
72
2
