COUNCIL MINUTES October 26, 2015 <br />APPROVED <br />89 Mayor Reinert noted that he's been informed that there will be an ambulance responding out of the <br />90 new Southside station. Parametics generally make a decision on the location of the ambulance and it <br />91 will be at that station sometimes. <br />92 <br />93 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />94 <br />95 There was no report from the Public Services Department. <br />96 <br />97 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />98 <br />99 6A) Resolution No. 15-115, Adopting Special Assessment, Individual Utility Connections, <br />100 City Engineer Hankee explained that these assessments relate to requests received by the city from <br />101 individual property owners wishing to connect to city utilities. The project costs are fully assessed to <br />102 the property. <br />103 <br />104 Mayor Reinert noted that the restaurant, Fiesta Cancun, recently found themselves in discussions <br />105 about the cost of their water related services. The council has been able to work that out in a fair <br />106 manner. Council Member Roeser added that the council will be going a little further by making sure <br />107 that the SAC and WAC charges through the city are where they should be. Business charges, such <br />108 as those, should be reviewed regularly. <br />109 <br />110 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 15-115 as presented. Council Member <br />111 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />112 6B) Consider Resolution No. 15-116, Adopting Special Assessment, Saddle Club, City Engineer <br />113 Hankee explained that the special assessment is related to the Saddle Club development and utility, <br />114 SAC and WAC charges. Mayor Reinert noted that the Saddle Club is a great development and he <br />115 encourages people to take a look at it. <br />116 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 15-116 as presented. Council Member <br />117 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />118 6C) Consider Resolution No. 15-117, Adopting Special Assessment, NorthPointe — City <br />119 Engineer Hankee reviewed the assessments related to the NorthPointe development. The charges <br />120 apply to seven properties and some of them have already been paid. <br />121 Council Member Roeser moved to approve Resolution No. 15-117 as presented. Council Member <br />122 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />123 6D) Consider Resolution No. 15-118, Adopting Special Assessment, Talan Ridge — City <br />124 Engineer Hankee reviewed the assessments related to the Talan Ridge Project. The charges apply to <br />125 three parcels. <br />126 Mayor Reinert recalled that there were some concerns raised by the neighborhood about grading and he <br />127 asked for an update. Ms. Hankee explained that while the building plans have not yet been submitted <br />128 for the project, the grading plans are in place and are satisfactory to city staff. <br />3 <br />
