Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-114 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF AN EXPANDED FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br />THE LINO LAKES MARKETPLACE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS in response to a petition from property owners located on the east side of Lake Drive, <br />south of 77tk Street and north of Apollo Drive extended, in an area proposed to be platted as the <br />Lino Lakes Marketplace, it is proposed to improve this area generally located in the South Half of <br />the Southeast Quarter of Section 8 by constructing utility and street improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, notwithstanding claims regarding assessable costs made in the petition letter of May <br />8, 2001, the City will determine the benefiting properties and the assessable costs, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and <br />WHEREAS, since the original City Council action ordering a report on May 14, 2001, the scope of <br />the proposed improvements has increased, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed additional improvements include reconstruction of Lake Drive from <br />south of Apollo Drive to north of 77th Street including storm sewer, an additional signal, road <br />widening, turn lanes, bypass lanes, and medians, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of <br />the expanded improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1.
