Council Member Reinert introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-128 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FOR SKATE PARK PAD <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has attempted to provide residents an opportunity to <br />enjoy a skate park since 1998, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has purchased equipment for a skate park facility at <br />City Hall Park, and <br />WHEREAS, donations were received from the following businesses and organizations <br />to fund the construction of a bituminous pad: <br />Forest Lake Area Athletic Association (FLAAA) $2,000 <br />Friends of The Park Foundation $1,000 <br />Lino Lakes VFW Auxiliary $1,000 <br />Lino Lakes Lions Club $ 750 <br />Centennial Fire District $ 500 <br />Mr. Kieger and area youth $ 430 <br />Lino Lakes VFW $ 300 <br />Lino Lakes State Bank $ 250 <br />Community National Bank $ 200 <br />Custom Remodelers $ 100 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />the Council graciously accepts the above listed donations that helped make the skate <br />park facility a reality. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 10th day of September, 2001. <br />Jea ' iger, Deputy ClerTreasurer <br />The otion for the adoptioh of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Dahl and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Bergeson, Carlson, Dahl, Reinert and O'Donnell <br />The following against same: None . <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
