EXPANDED AGENDA <br />MOTION BY CARLSON, SECONDED BY O'DONNELL, AUTHORIZING THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT PURCHASE OF THREE THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY STAFF. MOTION CARRIED. <br />6. Public Services Department Report, Rick DeGardner <br />None. <br />7. Community Development Department Report, Michael Grochala <br />A) Ramsay Matter update; Mike Grochala. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR GROCHALA REPORTED THAT AN <br />AGREEMENT HAD BEEN REACHED WITH THE RAMSAYS AS TO THE POOL <br />LOCATION. HE SHOWED A DRAWING OF THE PROPOSED POOL LOCATION, <br />WHICH WAS TO BE PLACED APPROXIMATELY 52 FEET BACK FROM THE <br />PROPERTY LINE, RESULTING IN THE POOL BEING MOVED TO THE WEST. HE <br />INDICATED ALL OF THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS OF THE COUNCIL, THE <br />RAMSAYS, AND THE NEIGHBORS HAD FACTORED INTO THIS COMPROMISE <br />LOCATION, AND THE PARTIES WERE IN AGREEMENT. <br />COUNCILMEMBER REINERT REQUESTED AN UPDATE ON THE COSTS OF <br />RELOCATING THE POOL. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR <br />GROCHALA REPORTED THAT THE RELOCATION WOULD BE <br />APPROXIMATELY $1,516.49 AND THE SOD WORK ESTIMATE WAS $1,500, OR <br />NOT TO EXCEED $2,000. BECAUSE THE CITY'S INSURANCE WAS <br />CONTRIBUTING TO THE COST, THE NET COST TO THE CITY WAS VERY <br />CLOSE TO THE $1,500 PROJECTED. <br />CITY ATTORNEY SULLIVAN REPORTED THAT THE AGREEMENT WOULD BE <br />FORWARDED TO THE RAMSAYS AND THE COUNCIL WAS NOT REQUIRED TO <br />TAKE FORMAL ACTION ON THIS ITEM. <br />THE COUNCIL CONCURRED TO FORWARD THE AGREEMENT TO THE <br />RAMSAYS IN SETTLEMENT OF THIS MATTER. <br />B) Resolution approving final plat, Royal Pines (12th & Holly); Jeff Smyser. <br />C) Consider Adopting Assessments, John Powell. <br />i) Resolution No. 01-176, Bluebill Ponds <br />ii) Resolution No. 01-177, Highland Meadows West 3rd Addition <br />iii) Resolution No. 01-178, Peregrine Pass <br />iv) Resolution No. 01-179, Spirit Hills <br />v) Resolution No. 01-180, Individual Properties Which Requested <br />Connection to City Utilities <br />Page 3 <br />
