EXHIBIT A City of Lino Lakes DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TASK FORCE By -Laws Under the authority vested by the City Council of Lino Lakes, the duties and structure of the Development Regulations Task Force shall be as follows: ARTICLE I. NAME OF TASK FORCE The Task Force shall be called the Development Regulations Task Force, and will be referred to as the DRTF throughout the remainder of this document. ARTICLE II. PURPOSE AND POLICY Section 1. Purpose The purpose of the DRTF is to make recommendations to the City Council regarding revisions to the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances based on the policies and goals set forth in the 2001 Comprehensive Plan. Section 2. Policies The DRTF shall meet its purpose through the review of ordinance revisions prepared by the City's planning consultant and City staff. In addition to the requirements set forth herein the purpose shall be carried out in conformance with the following: a. The review process shall be conducted within the timeline set forth by the City Council. b. The DRTF shall limit its review to the ordinance revisions based on the goals and policies of the Comprehensive Plan. Modification of the Comprehensive Plan is outside the scope of the DRTF purpose. c. Recommendation of revisions shall be decided by a simple majority vote as more clearly defined in Article V. d. The DRTF shall provide the council with a bi-monthly status report indicating task force accomplishments in accordance with the prescribed schedule. In the event that progress has not been made, the DRTF shall provide reasons for such delays. Section 3. Range of Action The DRTF shall serve as an advisory group, and shall make its recommendations directly to the City Council on all matters.
