ARTICLE III. STRUCTURE AND ORGANIZATION <br />Section 1. Membership <br />The DRTF shall consist of seven (7) voting members. The task force shall consist of two <br />(2) members from each of the following boards/committee: <br />a. Economic Development Advisory Committee <br />b. Environment Board <br />c. Planning and Zoning Board <br />and one member from the City Council. <br />The City Park Board, while not represented on the DRTF, shall serve as a resource to the <br />task force in matters that pertain to park, trail, and greenway development. <br />Section 2. Appointment <br />Appointments will be made by the City Council following nomination of board members <br />by the individual boards. The City Council representative shall be selected by the City <br />Council. <br />Section 3. Removal from Office <br />Any DRTF member may be removed from the task force with cause by request of the <br />Chair and simple majority consent of the City Council. A member that misses two <br />consecutive meetings will be removed from the DRTF without a vote. Vacancies shall be <br />filled by simple majority vote of the City Council. <br />Section 4. Compensation <br />All appointed DRTF members shall serve without remuneration. <br />Section 5. Membership rights and responsibilities <br />All members must attend meetings of the DRTF, participate fully in DRTF discussion, <br />and have one vote. No member of the DRTF, with the exception of the Chair, may speak <br />or act on behalf of the DRTF without prior authorization from the task force. <br />ARTICLE IV. OFFICERS <br />Section 1. Officers of the DRTF shall be the Chair and Vice -Chair. <br />
