CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02-06 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PICNIC SHELTER FOR <br />GETHSEMANE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 7330 LAKE DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, an application has been submitted to the City for a conditional use permit <br />amendment to allow the construction of a picnic shelter, and <br />WHEREAS, the legal description of the property is: <br />Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 182 <br />(PIN #17-31-22-33-0050) <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting on January 9, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Board conducted a <br />public hearing to consider the application and recommended approval subject to the conditions <br />listed in the meeting minutes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes makes the following findings of fact, as <br />required by Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7 of the Zoning Ordinance: <br />The proposed use at the proposed location, subject to the conditions contained herein: <br />a. Will not be detrimental to or endanger the public health, safety, comfort, convenience or <br />general welfare of the neighborhood or the City. <br />b. Will be harmonious with the general and applicable specific plans and policies of the <br />comprehensive plan of the City and this ordinance. <br />c. Will be designed, constructed, operated, and maintained so as to be harmonious and <br />appropriate in appearance with the existing and/or intended character of the general <br />vicinity and will not change the essential character of that area. <br />d. Will be served adequately by essential public facilities and services, including streets, <br />police and fire protection, drainage structures, refuse disposal, water and sewer systems, <br />and schools; or will be served adequately by such facilities and services provided by the <br />persons or agencies responsible for the establishment of the proposed use. <br />e. Will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for public facilities and <br />services and will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the community. <br />
