CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 02-06 RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PICNIC SHELTER FOR GETHSEMANE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 7330 LAKE DRIVE WHEREAS, an application has been submitted to the City for a conditional use permit amendment to allow the construction of a picnic shelter, and WHEREAS, the legal description of the property is: Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 182 (PIN #17-31-22-33-0050) and WHEREAS, at their meeting on January 9, 2002, the Planning and Zoning Board conducted a public hearing to consider the application and recommended approval subject to the conditions listed in the meeting minutes; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes makes the following findings of fact, as required by Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7 of the Zoning Ordinance: The proposed use at the proposed location, subject to the conditions contained herein: a. Will not be detrimental to or endanger the public health, safety, comfort, convenience or general welfare of the neighborhood or the City. b. Will be harmonious with the general and applicable specific plans and policies of the comprehensive plan of the City and this ordinance. c. Will be designed, constructed, operated, and maintained so as to be harmonious and appropriate in appearance with the existing and/or intended character of the general vicinity and will not change the essential character of that area. d. Will be served adequately by essential public facilities and services, including streets, police and fire protection, drainage structures, refuse disposal, water and sewer systems, and schools; or will be served adequately by such facilities and services provided by the persons or agencies responsible for the establishment of the proposed use. e. Will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost for public facilities and services and will not be detrimental to the economic welfare of the community.
