The City's Local Water Management <br />plan calls for the minimum floor elevation, including basement to be 4 feet above the <br />groundwater, 4 feet above the normal water level, or 2 feet above the 100 -year flood <br />elevation, whichever is greatest. The lowest opening is also required to be at least <br />1 foot above the emergency overflow. <br />Response letter stated groundwater levels were being monitored. Has final <br />determinations been made yet? <br />9. Approval from Rice Creek Watershed is needed. <br />The City will need to receive confirmation that Rice Creek Watershed District <br />has given approval before final approval can be given from the City. <br />10. Proposed discharge rates to Wetland 11 seem to exceed existing condition <br />discharge rates to Wetland 11. The use of Wetlands for rate control is <br />discouraged. Please review Wetland 11 and its drainage. <br />
