CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 02-172 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ARTICLE VL, OF THE DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TASK FORCE BY-LAWS WHEREAS, The City Council, on January 14th, 2002 adopted Resolution No. 02-03 establishing the Development Regulations Task Force (DRTF) for the purpose of reviewing and recommending amendments to the City's zoning and subdivision codes in order to implement the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, The establishment of the DRTF included the approval of By-laws to govern the actions of said taskforce, of which Article VI established the date of November 30, 2002 for termination of the Task Force; and WHEREAS, The DRTF has requested a thirty (30) day time extension to allow for the complete review of the proposed amendments; and WHEREAS, The City Council finds that it is in the best interests of the City to have the Development Review Task Force complete its review of the proposed subdivision and zoning ordinance amendments and make a recommendation on the entirety of the proposed amendments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council hereby amends Article VI., Sunset Clause, of the Development Regulations Task Force Bylaws to read as follows: The DRTF shall complete all revisions and terminate on or before December 30, 2002 or by simple majority vote of the City Council. In the event that the DRTF terminates prior to the completion of its charge the responsibility of completing its purpose shall fall to the City Council or its designee.
