CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02 - <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT — DITCH/POND <br />CLEANING PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of the Ditch/Pond project, <br />Quotes were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following quotes were <br />received complying with the request: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Amt Construction Company $49,731.70 <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. No Bid <br />Glen Rehbein Excavating No Bid <br />Ro-So Contracting, Inc. No Bid <br />W.B. Miller, Inc. No Bid <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Amt Construction Company is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1 The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Amt <br />Construction Company, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />Ditch/Pond Cleaning Improvements according to the plans and specifications approved by <br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />~ lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 16th day of December 2002. <br />Ann J.(B1air, City Clerk <br />
