Council MemberCj. )J introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-29 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR CITY COUNCIL <br />ACTION REGARDING MAJESTIC PINES COMMUNITY CHURCH <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes received applications from Majestic Pines <br />Community Church for a conditional use permit and site and building plan review, and <br />WHEREAS, A majority vote of the City Council is required for approval of the <br />applications, and <br />WHEREAS the City Council voted on the applications at its regular meeting on February <br />28, 2000, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council vote was two ayes and two nays, which means the project <br />was not approved and was thus denied. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council makes the following <br />findings of fact: <br />1. Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7. of the City's zoning ordinance provides standards for all <br />conditional use permits. <br />2. Section 5, Subd. 2.H.5. of the zoning ordinance provides additional criteria for a <br />conditional use permit for churches in the R -X zoning district. <br />3. The applicant agreed to several extensions of the review period according to law. <br />4. The revised application submitted February 7, 2000 was not complete, as stated in the <br />staff report. <br />5. The applicant requested a decision by the City Council on the project at the February <br />28, 2000 meeting. <br />6. The proposed phase one building footprint is 26,016 square feet, and the building <br />height would be 30 ft. <br />7. The proposed parking for phase one includes 194 parking spaces. <br />
