COUNCIL MINUTES November 23, 2015 <br />APPROVED <br />46 Resolution No. 15-135, Approving a Special Law 2015, <br />47 Chapter 68 Approved, as amended <br />48 <br />49 Resolution No. 15-136, Authorizing the Public Safety <br />50 Director to Implement a Transition Plan for Fire Services Approved <br />51 <br />52 FINANCE DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />53 <br />54 2A) 2016 Fee Schedule, Consider 2"d Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 12-15, <br />55 Establishing the 2016 City Fee Schedule — Finance Director Cotton reviewed the written staff report <br />56 requesting 2"d Reading and adoption of the city's fee schedule for the coming year. Changes are <br />57 noted in red in the ordinance. <br />58 <br />59 Council Member Kustennan moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 12-15. Council <br />60 Member Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />61 <br />62 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve the 2"d Reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 12-15 <br />63 as presented. Council Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried; Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />64 <br />65 Resolution No. 15-138, Approving a summary publication of Ordinance No. 12-15 <br />66 <br />67 Council Member Kusterman moved to approve Resolution No. 15-138 as presented. Council <br />68 Member Roeser seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />69 <br />70 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />71 <br />72 There was no report from the Administration Department. <br />73 <br />74 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />75 <br />76 4A) Resolution No. 15-132, Accepting a Project Lifesaver Grant- Public Safety Director <br />77 Swenson explained that staff would like to accept grant funds that will assist the city in administering <br />78 the Project Lifesaver program. The grant funds would help families afford the equipment that helps <br />79 individuals who are in danger of wandering off <br />80 <br />81 Council Member Roeser complimented the Police Department on seeking grant funds; he'd like to <br />82 see more city divisions doing the same. <br />83 <br />84 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 15-132 as presented. Council Member <br />85 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />86 <br />87 4B) Public Safety Department Update — Public Safety Director Swenson offered the following <br />88 information: <br />89 - Transition Plan to Lino Lakes Fire Department — the plan was approved by the council earlier <br />90 on the agenda.
