PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 MOBILIZATION <br />A. Move personnel, equipment, materials, and all other items required to complete the Work <br />at the Site. <br />B. Establish Contractor trailers or other facilities necessary for Work on the Project. <br />C. Temporarily hold or relocate utilities and any miscellaneous structures, such as signs, power <br />poles, guy wires, and mailboxes disturbed. <br />3.02 TEMPORARY UTILITIES <br />A. Remove all temporary facilities, utilities, and controls as rapidly as progress will permit or as <br />directed by Engineer. <br />B. Temporary Water for Construction <br />1. Obtain water for construction from Owner at a hydrant. Obtain a meter and backflow <br />preventer or assembly from Owner. Return to Owner at completion. Pay City <br />charge/deposit for meter use during construction. City will refund deposit. The City will <br />not charge for the water; conserve water. <br />C. Temporary Electricity <br />1. Provide all necessary temporary electric service and temporary wiring needed for <br />construction activities. Contractor shall pay for all temporary electricity. <br />2. Contractor may use permanent electric service with Owner permission. Contractor <br />shall pay for all electrical usage until Substantial Completion. After Substantial <br />Completion, Owner will pay for electricity. <br />3.03 CONSTRUCTION FACILITIES <br />A. Sanitary Facilities <br />1. Comply with all governing regulations, including safety and health codes, for sanitary <br />fixtures and facilities. <br />2. Provide self-contained toilet units, or water and sewer connected temporary toilet <br />facilities, consistent with governing regulations. <br />3. Provide and maintain adequate supply of toilet tissue, paper towels, paper cups, and <br />similar disposable materials appropriate for each facility. Provide appropriate covered <br />waste containers for used material. <br />B. Pumping and Dewatering <br />1. Provide draining, pumping, dewatering, and cleaning operations necessary to <br />complete the Work. <br />2. Provide all necessary pumping to remove all surface water and groundwater from <br />structures as required for the Work. Provide erosion control measures for discharge of <br />water. <br />3.
