3.02 GENERAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Comply with the manufacturer's instructions for installation of manufactured products to <br />the extent that these instructions are applicable and more explicit or more stringent than <br />requirements indicated in the Contract Documents. <br />B. Secure Work true to line and level, within recognized industry tolerances, with anchorage <br />devices designed and sized to withstand stresses, vibration, and rocking. <br />C. Install each element of work during weather conditions and Project status to ensure <br />coordination of the Work. Isolate each element of work from incompatible work as <br />necessary to prevent deterioration. <br />D. Record installation details and prepare Record Documents consistent with the General <br />Conditions. <br />3.03 EQUIPMENT VARIATIONS <br />A. Contractors are advised that because of manufacturer's variations in equipment design <br />changes from Drawings in piping arrangement and layout, electrical and control from <br />Drawings in piping arrangement and layout, electrical and control circuitry, and related <br />dimensions of equipment foundation and anchorage details, may be required for <br />equipment installations. <br />B. Equipment requiring minor deviations in the system layout, such as minor piping revisions, <br />will be acceptable; however, the Contractor shall include all costs associated with the <br />deviation in their Bid. Should the deviation require revisions in the design of the facility, the <br />Contractor shall reimburse the Owner for the cost of any redesign. <br />3.04 COMPENSATION FOR INCREASE OR DECREASE IN QUANTITIES <br />A. The Contractor's Bid Unit Prices as shown on the Bid Form shall apply to all Bid Items <br />independent of any quantity change. <br />3.05 ADDITIONS OR DELETION OF ITEMS <br />A. The City reserves the right to delete any Bid Item or complete sections of work form the <br />Contract without additional compensation to the Contractor. <br />3.06 SITE MAINTENANCE <br />A. Maintain stockpiles, excavations, access roads, and all other work areas free from dust. <br />Employ dust abatement techniques whenever a dust nuisance or hazard occurs, or as <br />directed by Engineer. Comply with local ordinances. <br />B. Protect hazardous work areas and hazardous material storage areas. <br />C. Protect trees, unless specifically indicated on Drawings. <br />D.
