SECTION 01 78 23 <br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. Section Includes <br />1. General procedures and requirements for Operation and Maintenance Manuals. <br />1.02 PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br />A. Measurement and Payment <br />1. All Work and costs of this Section shall be incidental to the Project and included in the <br />Total Base Bid. <br />1.03 SEQUENCING AND SCHEDULING <br />A. Schedule submittals consistent with Contractor's schedule of submittals. <br />B. Operation and Maintenance Manuals must be approved before placing equipment into <br />operation. <br />PART2 PRODUCTS <br />Not Used. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />A. Submit 1 preliminary set of Operation and Maintenance Manuals for review by the <br />Engineer. Engineer will review and return to the Contractor this set marked "Reviewed," <br />"Reviewed as Noted," or "Revise and Resubmit" consistent with Section 01 33 00. After the <br />Operation and Maintenance Manuals have been corrected, submit final sets. <br />B. Submit 2 Paper and 2 electronic CD copies of the approved and final sets of detailed <br />equipment drawings and explicit instructions on the operation and maintenance in PDF <br />Format of each piece of equipment furnished on the Project. <br />3.02 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS <br />A. Manuals are required for all equipment, accessories, devices, etc. that require adjustment, <br />maintenance, operation, or repairs by the Owner's personnel, including drives, motors, <br />controls, etc. All information shall be supplied by the appropriate equipment <br />manufacturers, neatly bound in rigid cover ring type binders by the Contractor, and <br />properly indexed. Manuals shall include record shop drawings and copies of factory <br />certified tests. Each manual shall contain the following information where applicable: <br />1.
