SECTION 01 92 00 <br />FACILITY OPERATION <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. Section Includes <br />1. General procedural requirements for starting and placing in service systems and <br />equipment. <br />1.02 PRICE AND PAYMENT PROCEDURES <br />A. Measurement and Payment <br />1. All Work and costs of this Section shall be incidental to the Project and included in the <br />Total Bid. <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Submit the following items consistent with Section 01 33 00: <br />1. Operating data and field-testing results. <br />2. Start-up schedule for equipment and systems. <br />3. Disinfection plan. <br />PART 2 PRODUCTS <br />Not Used. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 GENERAL <br />A. Provide checkout services, start-up, demonstration, and training for each individual piece <br />of equipment. <br />B. Provide checkout services, start-up, demonstration, and training for each system. <br />C. Provide checkout services, start-up, demonstration, and training for Project as a <br />functioning whole. <br />D. Multiple mobilizations and service trips will be required. <br />3.02 DISINFECTION <br />A. Prior to placing the facility into operation, Contractor shall thoroughly clean and disinfect <br />in accordance with AWWA C653 all tankage and piping, and all materials, that come into <br />contact with potable water. <br />B. Disinfection of the tankage shall be in accordance with AWWA Standard C652, <br />"Disinfection of Water Storage Facilities." <br />C.
