Council Member Elliott <br />and moved its adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03 — 93 <br />RESOLUTION REDESIGNATING THE USE OF LOT 12, BLOCK 8, LEXINGTON <br />PARK/LAKEVIEW FROM PARK AND RIDE LOT TO USE AS RIGHT—OF—WAY FOR THE <br />RE—ALIGNMENT OF NORTH ROAD (COUNTY STATE—AID HIGHWAY 10) TO MEET <br />LAKE DRIVE (COUNTY STATE—AID HIGHWAY 23) OPPOSITE THE NEW ALIGNMENT <br />OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 49 (HODGSON ROAD) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes obtained title to Lot 12, Block 8, <br />Lexington Park Lakeview through the tax forfeit process <br />and designated its use as a park and ride lot, and <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the need for a park and ride lot has not yet been <br />documented, and <br />the City of Lino Lakes has been working with Anoka <br />County, Mn/DOT, and area residents since 1989 on the re- <br />alignment of the intersection of Trunk Highway 49/County <br />State -Aid Highway 23/County State -Aid Highway 10, and <br />all or a portion of Lot 12, Block 8 will be necessary for <br />the re -aligned County State -Aid Highway 10/North Road, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, additional grading easements beyond the right-of-way line <br />may be necessary to facilitate construction, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The designated use for Lot 12, Block 8, Lexington Park <br />Lakeview be changed from park and ride lot to use for <br />construction of the re -alignment of County State -Aid <br />Highway 10/North Road. <br />2.
