Fire <br />The City of Lino Lakes receives fire services from the Centennial Fire District. The District is <br />governed by a joint powers agreement between the cities of Lino Lakes, Circle Pines and <br />Centerville. There is a station in each city. There is two full time Interim Chiefs and approximately <br />50 volunteers. The firefighters are trained to respond to medical calls in addition to fire calls. <br />Ambulance service is provided by North Memorial for Lino Lakes and Centerville. Healthspan <br />provides ambulance service to Circle Pines. The Department will be operational in January, 2016. <br />Transitional and start-up costs are included in the 2015 budget. A Deputy Director of Fire <br />Operations has been added, and one-half of the Director of Public Safety, Captain and <br />Administrative Assistant costs have been allocated to the Fire Department Operations budget for <br />2015. Recruitment, training, equipping and incentives for paid on call firefighters is also included <br />for 2015. <br />D-65 <br />
