Council Member Neal <br />adoption: <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-91 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — 77TH <br />STREET UTILITY EXTENSION IMPROVEMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 77th Street Utility <br />Extension Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Company <br />Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. <br />Penn Contracting , Inc. <br />Volk Sewer and Water, Inc. <br />W. B. Miller, Inc. <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />Bid Amount <br />$ 81,761.00 <br />$ 82,486.70 <br />$ 92,679.25 <br />$ 96,282.65 <br />$ 91,434.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc., is the lowest responsible <br />bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Dave <br />Perkins Contracting, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />77th Street Utility Extension Improvements according to the plans and specifications <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2.
