Section 22 14 26 <br />PLUMBING (ROOFING -RELATED) <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Summary: <br />A. General: <br />1. The scope of work shall consist of the furnishing of all labor, equipment <br />and material for the complete installation of the overflow roof drain <br />systems as indicated on the drawings and included in this specification. <br />Work shall include but not be limited to new pipe insulation on new <br />piping, hangers, cleanouts, and roof drains; and, repair of insulation on <br />existing piping. <br />2. This Contractor is required to provide complete systems. Components <br />listed are not intended to limit the scope of the work and items not <br />specified, but necessary for the system operation, are to be provided at no <br />additional cost. Should there be any discrepancies or a question of intent, <br />the Engineer should be consulted to render a decision before ordering <br />equipment or materials and before starting any related work. <br />3. This Contractor shall furnish and install all minor items which are <br />obviously and reasonably necessary to complete the installation and <br />usually included in similar work even though not specifically mentioned in <br />the Contract Documents. Such items are bolts, nuts, anchors, brackets, <br />sleeves, drains, and drips at low points, air vents at high points, minor <br />offsets in piping because of unforeseen obstructions, etc <br />B. Partial Demolition: <br />1. Provide all cutting, demolition, removal, patching, and restoration work <br />necessary to accomplish and complete all work under the contract, <br />including any relocation or reuse of existing materials, equipment, <br />systems, or other work, as well as the disposition of salvaged materials or <br />debris. <br />2. All work necessary to remove the identified equipment items, including <br />cutting, rigging, loading, transport, and disposal of the indicated <br />equipment is part of the work, whether indicated by specific details on the <br />drawings or not. The drawings are not to be construed as indicating all <br />required work nor indicating all conditions or details that might be <br />encountered during the progress of the work.
