B. Regular inspections shall be requested by each Contractor as required by any <br />regulating agency. All charges for inspections by regulating agencies of <br />installations, or plans and specifications, shall be paid by the Contractor. <br />C. In submitting a bid on the project, the Contractor acknowledges his responsibility <br />to install the work in accordance with governing codes. The Contractor agrees to <br />perform work necessary to attain code authority approval of the installation under <br />the base contract compensation. <br />D. If these specifications with accompanying drawings are in any way at variance <br />with these Codes, the above cited Codes shall govern and the Contractor shall <br />make this installation accordingly, except where the drawings or specifications <br />call for higher quality of work than that prescribed in the Codes. <br />E. All permits, licenses, fees and service charges required in connection with the <br />mechanical system installation shall be secured and paid for by this Contractor. <br />F. The Contractor shall make all arrangements with each utility company and pay all <br />service charges associated with new or modifications to existing services. <br />G. Charges for inspections by regulating agencies shall be paid by <br />this Contractor. <br />1.04 Scheduling: <br />A. Coordinate installation of new roof drains and leaders with the Owner. <br />B. Coordinate installation with flashing work specified in Section 07 51 13 Asphalt <br />Built -Up Roofing Gravel Surfacing. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 Roof Drain: <br />A. Coated cast iron roof drain with bottom outlet, deck clamp, cast iron dome, sump <br />receiver where applicable, and vandal -proof clips, or approved equal. Provide <br />special threaded rod to extend clamps, if necessary. Furnish and install sump <br />receivers on metal roof decks (as required). Provide cast iron, vandal proof <br />domes on drains installed on structures one story in height, or multi -story high <br />roofs accessible from one-story structures by means of ship ladders or stairs. <br />Approved products: <br />1.
