Dept. of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) <br />The WBL Restoration Assn. & WBL <br />Homeowners' Assn. reached a settlement <br />agreement with the DNR that imposes a <br />three-year stay on the lawsuit so funds <br />can be appropriated for a Northeast Metro <br />Project. This involves a construction <br />project to connect Northeast cities to the <br />St. Paul Regional Water Service. Lino <br />Lakes is one of seven cities included in <br />the second phase of the project. <br />Jeff <br />A project update meeting was <br />held January 20th to discuss <br />progress on the USGS <br />evaluation of groundwater and <br />surface water interaction in the <br />northeast metro area. The <br />report should be completed in <br />September 2016. <br />Polling Locations <br />12/7/15 — Council requested that staff <br />look into alternative polling locations <br />Julie <br />Staff looked at other possible <br />locations and prepared a <br />timeline for precinct boundary <br />changes <br />Laserfisch System <br />12/7/15 — Council suggested the <br />Laserfisch system include a date change <br />column for Council packet updates <br />Jeff <br />Staff will propose the change <br />to Metro I -Net's member <br />cities at the next meeting on <br />February 25 <br />Approval Process for <br />Capital Expenditures <br />12/28/15 — Council requested that a <br />discussion regarding an approval <br />process for capital expenditures be <br />placed on the 1/4/16 work session <br />agenda <br />Jeff <br />Finance Director will create <br />a status tracker and the <br />directors will keep the <br />Council informed through <br />the Weekly Update <br />Union History Report <br />5/4/15 — Council requested staff to put <br />together a union history report to <br />educate future councils <br />Jeff <br />On hold <br />
