Lino Lakes Public Services Department
600 Town Center Parkway
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
(651) 982-2440 Fax (651)982-2439
www.ci.Iino-Iakes.mn.us
January 25, 2016
Resident's name
Address
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
Dear Water Utility Customer,
The City of Lino Lakes is in the process of upgrading all water meter reading devices that are
obsolete. These devices have passed their warranted life and are starting to fail. The new units
have a 20 year warranty and will in most cases be mounted on the exterior of your home.
The City has contracted with Midwest Testing to perform the change -outs. In addition,
Midwest Testing will be replacing all water meters registering over 2,000,000 gallons of
consumption.
To avoid any service interruptions, please contact Midwest Testing at 651-229-3504 to schedule
an appointment by February 15, 2016. Appointments are available 9am-6pm, Monday -Friday
and typically take 30-45 minutes. An adult at least 18 years of age must be home during the
actual installation.
There is no charge for the upgrade of the meter reading device or the water meter replacement
(if applicable). This project is being funded by the Water Operating Fund.
Midwest Testing has previously worked with the City of Lino Lakes and other area cities. All
installers have completed background checks, possess photo ID badges, and drive clearly
marked vehicles. I am confident that you will be pleased with the customer service offered by
Midwest Testing. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this project please contact
me at (651)928-2452.
Sincerely,
Tim Hillesheim
Utility Supervisor - Public Services Department
