CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 4A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Swenson, Public Safety Director <br />MEETING DATE: December 28, 2015 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 15-153, Approving Change Order No. 2 <br />Fire Station No. 2 Project <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting council action to approve Change Order No. 2 of the Fire Station No. 2 <br />Project. <br />BACKGROUND <br />There are a handful of items in this change order including added costs as well as credit items. The <br />details of these revisions can be found in the attached CNH Memorandum. The current Fire Station <br />No. 2 Project contact amount, including Change Order No. 1 was $3,889,827.00. With the approval <br />of Change Order No. 2, the new contract amount will be $3,904,042.00. The project contingency <br />can accommodate this change order. Quinn Hutson, CNH Architects, will be in attendance at the <br />council meeting to answer any questions. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Resolution No. 15-153, Approving Change Order No. 2 for the Lino Lakes Fire Station <br />No. 2 Project in the amount of $14,215.00 to Jorgenson Construction. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />CNH Memorandum — Recommendation to Council <br />Change Order No. 2 <br />Resolution 15-153 <br />
