COUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 26, 1990 <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN <br />Mayor Bisel opened a work session of the Lino Lakes City <br />Council at 3:30 P.M., Thursday, April 26, 1990. Council <br />Members present: Neal, Kuether, Reinert and Bohjanen. <br />Council Members absent: none. Chief of Police, Dean <br />Campbell; Fire Chief, Archie Gay; Public Works Director, Don <br />Volk; Engineer's, Darrell Schneider and Dan Boxrud; Planning <br />Intern, Marc Schoen; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and <br />Clerk - Treasurer Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that this work session is a <br />continuation of the Capital Improvement Plan work session of <br />April 11, 1990. <br />Dan Boxrud began his presentation of engineering issues that <br />will be addressed by SEH over the next five (5) years. <br />- Pavement Management Plan. This Plan is currently being <br />completed by himself and Mr. Volk. <br />- Highway 49 /Lake Drive (CASH #23) Intersection. This has <br />been planned as a 1990 improvement. However, approval of <br />the plans and financing are taking some time. Mayor Bisel <br />asked if Rice Lake Plaza can start their construction <br />without this improvement. Mr. Boxrud explained that they <br />are planning construction on the bank this year. He would <br />like additional information from them as to where they <br />plan to start construction. <br />- Main Street /135E. The northern trunk sewer is projected <br />for this area for 1991. Mr. Boxrud noted that he felt the <br />CIP is the facility for things that might happen. Items <br />can be eliminated or assigned to different years. <br />- 24th Avenue. Soil borings are complete and Mr. Boxrud is <br />waiting for the report. <br />- Centerville Lift Station to Pheasant Hills. Mr. Boxrud is <br />doing a feasibility report on this matter at the present <br />time. He has talked to Centerville and they will nc be <br />tieing into this line ?t 111, mt,^: hay not objectci to <br />Lino L. making the connection. The entire asses= ent <br />will fall on the developer of Pheasant Hills. <br />- PineRidge Water and Sewer Along Ware Road to PineRi, <br />Mr. Boxrud explained that the Shenandoah lift stati will <br />be near capacity. He noted that the new trunk gra% <br />lines will be started during the first phase of de% <br />of the Montain property. <br />pment <br />- Trunk Sewer Along Birch Street to Brandywood Estate Mr. <br />Boxrud noted that none of the property owners aloe rch <br />Street wants the use of this facility.
