• <br />• <br />LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />MINUTES <br />February 4, 1998 <br />5:30P.M. <br />6:20 P.M. <br />Sullivan, Neal, Bergeso <br />one <br />Lyden, Dal <br />Staff members present: Assistant to the City Administrator, Dan Tesch, City <br />Engineer/Public Works Director, Dave Ahrens, Community Development Director, Brian <br />Wessel, Interim City Administrator, Dave Pecchia, Planning Coordinator, Mary Kay <br />Wyland, Economic Development Assistant, Mary Divine, Finance Director, Mary Vaske, <br />Environmental Coordinator, Marty Asleson, City Accountant, Paula Schloer, Fire Chief, <br />Milo Bennett, Building Official, Pete Kluegel, Deputy Clerk, Jean Viger <br />1. Septic System Care Class Update, Dan Tesch (Distributed handout and <br />reminded everyone that the University of Minnesota Extension will be <br />holding a Septic Care Class here on March 16, 1998.) <br />2. Discuss Charter Commission's Request for Joint Meeting, Dan Tesch (Upon <br />Charter Commission's request Dan asked council to set a date for <br />meeting between the Charter Commission and the City Council to discuss <br />road reconstruction, 5 year plan and communication between Charter <br />Commission and City Council - Date was set for February 19, 1998 at 8:00 <br />p.m.) <br />3. Discuss City Administrator Search, Dan Tesch (Dan furnished City Council <br />with a list of reputable search firms and Council asked him to: <br />1. Provide council with information on leadership <br />2. Check with other communities on recent searches <br />4. Discuss Environmental Inventory and Management Plan Consultant <br />Recommendation, Marty Asleson (Requests for proposals were sent out for <br />the purpose of developing an inventory of natural resources and to develop <br />a management plan for these resources. The Environmental Committee <br />reviewed the proposals and interviewed consultants. They are now asking <br />the City Council to approve Brauer/Applied Ecological Services as <br />consultant to city) <br />
