Staff advised City sewer and water would be installed when 62nd Street is <br />reconstructed. <br />Council Member Carlson asked how the sewer and water hook ups would work with the <br />City Charter. Staff advised there will be some adjustments for interest rates, similar to <br />what was done on Ware Road. <br />Council Member Carlson stated that the properties on the south side of the roadway are <br />very large. She asked if those homeowners would be required to hook up to the City <br />sewer if their septics fail. Staff advised residents must hook up to the City utilities if a <br />septic fails and if City utilities are available. Residents can utilize the modified Bisel <br />Amendment until the property is subdivided. <br />1 <br />
