The ranking method provided a balanced system to give <br />equal weight to the seven criteria. The scoring was based upon each alternative's relative rating when <br />compared to the other alternatives. The relative ranking of the six remedial options follows (lowest score is <br />considered the best): <br />Option <br />Total Score <br />No Additional Action <br />27 <br />Plasma Torch <br />Is <br />Force Main <br />20 <br />Pump and Treat <br />16 <br />Dig and Truck <br />is <br />Dig and Line <br />14 <br />Dig and Line appears to be the most feasible remedial action option, followed closely by rile Dig and Truck; <br />and Pump and Treat options. Additional evaluation of the riiodtfying criteria (auency acceptance and public <br />acceptance) nray be required by NIPCA prior to selection of a final remedy.
