Regional Park <br />Purpose Acknowledgment of Lake Elmo Regional Park Preserve <br />Description Lake Elmo Regional Park Preserve is a 2,165-acre park within the City of Lake <br />Elmo, operated by Washington County and is part of the Metropolitan <br />Regional Park System. <br />Additional NOTE 1111012006: the following policies are drawn from the 1990 Lake Elmo <br />Policies park plan. <br />o Washington County shall be the implementing agency responsible for <br />acquisition, development, operation, and maintenance of the lake Elmo <br />Regional Park Preserve. <br />o The City will participate in the master planning and development process <br />for regional park projects that will have an impact on Lake Elmo. <br />o The City will oppose any use of the regional park for non -recreational <br />purposes. <br />DRAFT Comprehensive Park Plan 12 13713.000 <br />
